Welcome back to Blog spot!

After a long consideration, I finally re-activated this blog. I've been on-off from blogging for the past 2 years because of my commitment with work and study as well but it doesn't mean that I stop from blogging. I did write few short posts on my Dayre and at the same time I also trying my best to update my word press blog (which I will delete soon or switch to admin view only). I miss blogging very much. I miss reading other people stories and of course I miss blog walking too. So now, my life is back to normal. I only busy with my work as an educator and I have plenty of time to blogging.

For now I should say to myself, welcome back to Blog spot and bye-bye Word press. :)

Salam Ramadan to all Muslims. 

It’s Officially Over..Alhamdulillah

Alhamdulillah..after all the struggles, the hard work, bad migraine, sleepless moments, reading lot of academic journals, spent most of the time in front of the PC, listening to the “music” from our beloved lectures and of course from my pretty supervisor, I finally made it to the end. Yeah! I am proudly announced that my master journey is officially over today. At the Exam Hall, I managed to take some photos with my very supportive course mates and also with one of our lecture, Prof. Dr. Vincent Pang right after the exam has ended.

Still Alive…just BUSY

I am still Alive, but I am BUSY.

That explains why I very seldom update my blog. In fact, I have plenty of stories to share, but I couldn’t find the proper time to sit and writing posts for this blog. Well, of course I doing lots of writing for the past of 6-8 months but not for blogging purpose.

My domain will be expired this May, 15th. That’s very soon, but I still seemed undecided whether to pay for another year or just using a free domain which offer by Blogspot or WordPress. Macam rugi pula using domain berbayar but tidak aktif berblog anymore.

I miss jalan-jalan very much. My last vacation was last November and so far for this year, I don’t have any “secure ticket” for jalan-jalan. Pity me. Luckily, few weeks ago I joined a Retreat Program at Pulau Banggi, Kudat and personally I considered it as a vacation but as a percutian sambil belajar lah.

Not so good

Knowing the fact that I only get my car back in 2 more weeks is really make me feel worst. 2 weeks more? It sounds like forever. I called the person handling my case and too bad that there is NO GOOD news for me. He said that they are done with the documentations and my claim has been approved by my Insurance Company and now they have to wait for the parts which he said they ordered from somewhere else?

“Kena tunggu lebih kurang 2 minggu lagi lah Aahh-moi“. I wish I misheard those words and I don’t like the way he pronounced the Amoi word some more. But, well I need to accept the truth. 2 weeks more aahh-moi, sabar-sabar dulu. Sikajap sudah itu (mood memujuk diri sendiri).

No chances to go for a vacation also make me feel bad. Back in previous years, usually I have 1 or 2 vacation tickets in hand that I bought earlier but not this year. The above picture is one of my wish list destinations to explore this year. Hope I can find a reasonable air ticket and a perfect time as well that not conflict with my work and study schedule. Oh, I pray that 2014 will come to the end faster.

Next level : 2nd Semester

Move to the next level!

Yay, Semester 2 officially starts last weekend and I am quite excited to be honest. Just like the previous semester, this new semester I taking 2 papers too. Based on rumors that I overheard from my friends, these 2 papers are quite tough. Well, for me nothing is easy and I prefer to not to expecting anything at all. It is better to just attend the classes, follow orders by the lectures and do the assignments given by the lectures.

But personally this semester is quite challenging for me. Since there is no long holiday from March until Jun, meaning I will be full time working and studying at the same time. Having said that, I need to manage my time wisely and be more focus on my job and my study as well. Anyway, I still hope to dapat menjayakan my plan for a solo Vacation to Singapore by end of this month.

I hope this semester going to selesai soon and I will get better results. Amin.

PBS dimansuhkan? Yeah!!

Oppsss..itu tajuk ja tu..:)

Untuk semua warga pendidik.

 

SISTEM Pentaksiran Berasaskan Sekolah (PBS) tidak perlu dilaksanakan sehingga kajian mengenainya selesai dan satu kenyataan akan dikeluarkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan.

Ketua Pengarah Pelajaran, Datuk Dr. Khair Mohamad Yusof berkata, hasil penelitian dan kajian berkaitan PBS akan dimaklumkan kelak termasuk tindakan selanjutnya terhadap pelaksanaan sistem tersebut selepas Menteri Pendidikan, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin berpuas hati dengan penambahbaikan yang dicadangkan.

Cadangan-cadangan tersebut, katanya, mengambil kira dapatan kajian terbaru kementerian, rungutan para guru dan pandangan masyarakat termasuk oleh Suara Guru Masyarakat Malaysia (SGMM).

“Buat masa ini guru-guru tidak perlu meneruskan pelaksanaan PBS sehingga satu kenyataan mengenainya dibuat oleh KPM dalam masa terdekat,”

Kementerian, kata Dr. Khair amat memandang serius isu bebanan tugas yang dibangkitkan oleh guru-guru dalam pelaksanaan PBS serta kesannya terhadap para pelajar. Beliau berkata, PBS merupakan dasar yang melibatkan pentaksiran menyeluruh (holistik) terhadap pencapaian murid dan dalam hal pelaksanaannya, kementerian sentiasa terbuka dan telus terhadap sebarang rungutan, komen, pandangan, kritikan daripada guru-guru dan masyarakat.
